چکیده
Regarding the immunologic effects of anti-cancer treatment and their therapeutic implications, we aimed to evaluate radiotherapy (RT)-induced dynamic alterations in programmed death-1 (PD-1)/ death ligand-1 (PD-L1) expression profiles. Local RT with 2 Gy × 5 or 7.5 1 was applied CT26 mouse model. Tumors were resected evaluated at predefined time points according radiation response status: baseline, early (immediately after RT), middle (beginning tumor shrinkage), late (stable status effect), progression (tumor regrowth). PD-1/PD-L1 activity related immune cell profiles quantitatively assessed. upregulated PD-L1 levels cells from phase, which subsequently declined a level comparable baseline phase. induced lesser degree regression than Gy, frequency PD-L1+ myeloid-derived suppressor maintained be higher fractionated regimen. The proportion PD-1+ interferon (IFN)-γ+CD8α T continued increase, but mean fluorescence intensity values IFN-γ began decrease splenic PD-1+CD8+ significantly elevated, sustained longer 5. In transcriptomic data, stimulated transcription overall immune-related genes, showing sequentially altered patterns. observed depending on time-course responses. sequential patterns dose-fractionation should considered determine appropriate strategies radioimmunotherapy.

PD-L1 and intratumoral immune response in breast cancer
PURPOSE PD-L1 is thought to play an important role in the antitumor immune response. In this study, we investigated the expression of PD-L1 within breast tumor subsets to better define its prognostic significance. METHODS Immunohistochemistry was performed to determine PD-L1 tumor cell expression and to enumerate CD8, CD4 and CD68 tumor-infiltrating leucocytes (TIL) in a cohort of 443 breast ...
متن کاملa study on rate making and required reserves determination in reinsurance market: a simulation
reinsurance is widely recognized as an important instrument in the capital management of an insurance company as well as its risk management tool. this thesis is intended to determine premium rates for different types of reinsurance policies. also, given the fact that the reinsurance coverage of every company depends upon its reserves, so different types of reserves and the method of their calc...
The anticancer immune response of anti-PD-1/PD-L1 and the genetic determinants of response to anti-PD-1/PD-L1 antibodies in cancer patients
The programmed death-1 (PD-1), a coinhibitory receptor expressed on activated T cells and B cells, is demonstrated to induce an immune-mediated response and play a critical role in tumor initiation and development. The cancer patients harboring PD-1 or PD ligand 1 (PD-L1) protein expression have often a poor prognosis and clinical outcome. Currently, targeting PD-1 pathway as a potential new an...
متن کاملAssociation Between PD-L1 and HPV Status and the Prognostic Value of PD-L1 in Oropharyngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma
PURPOSE Oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) has been recognized as an immunosuppressive disease. Various mechanisms have been proposed for immune escape, including dysregulation of immune checkpoints such as the PD-1:PD-L1 pathway. We investigated the expression of programmed cell death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) in HPV-negative and HPV-positive OSCC to determine its prevalence and prognostic re...
متن کاملPD-L1 Status in Refractory Lymphomas
Targeted immunotherapy based on PD-1/PD-L1 suppression has revolutionized the treatment of various solid tumors. A remarkable improvement has also been observed in the treatment of patients with refractory/relapsing classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL). We investigated PD-L1 status in a variety of treatment resistant lymphomas. Tumor samples from 78 patients with therapy resistant lymphomas were im...
